Cargo Bike Safety Class

Our Cargo Bike Safety class is designed first and foremost for parents who want to ride around town with their children. Our goal is to give you the skills, experience, and confidence to safely navigate trails, intersections, and city streets while hauling precious cargo. That said, these same skills are valuable for anyone who rides in and around town — commuters, riders returning to biking after time away, those newer to cycling, and teens just beginning to ride independently are all welcome and will come away with practical, confidence-building skills.

About the Class

Cargo e-bikes are amazing tools for hauling groceries, commuting around town, and enjoying the outdoors with your kids — but they have a longer wheelbase, are much heavier, and sometimes your cargo even wiggles around! The goal of this course is to let you practice, gain some confidence, and build a mindset that will help keep you and you and your family safe during all your two-wheeled adventures

Ozark Bike Safety is partnering with The Meteor Bike Shop to provide fun and engaging classes at a great location right in downtown Bentonville!

The class will be about 5 hours with morning coffee and lunch provided by The Meteor Cafe

The price of the class is $125

Half the class will be spent discussing best-practices for riding through challenging situations. The other half of the class will be spent practicing skills on the bike, followed by a group ride around town where we stop and discuss potential real-world situations and how to handle them
